What do Tom Petty, Jack Kerouac, Australian merlot, an eight year-old style birthday party, Weezer and the Alberta border all have in common? Well…nothing really. Yet, it feels like a fairly accurate way of describing the Nix Dicksons. These princes of the prairies have played everywhere and seen everything. They could go on about festivals, charts, awards and accolades but truthfully, that stuff just isn’t that important to them. They are well seasoned vets of the Canadian indie-rock touring circuit.
