The Queens and Jacks Square Dance Club is a couples mainstream club that was founded in 1957. The first dance was held at the Kingsland Elementary School gymnasium with Don and Pinky Fleming as the caller couple and Fred and Grace Patton as the president couple. The club danced at a number of halls until the 1978-1979 season when it moved to the Meadowlark Park Community Hall for the new dancer classes and to the Southminster United Church Hall for the mainstream dances
