The FunnyFest Calgary Comedy Festival is Western Canada's largest comedy event. This year's 9th annual festival runs from April 30 to May 10 and features 11 days of hilarity at 10 different downtown venues, more than 40 shows and 70+ comic performers. FunnyFest is a non-profit organization run by volunteers and prides itself on a mandate of supporting and enhancing the careers of local area talent and performers. FunnyFest has also been designated one of the Top 10 Calgary signature events by Travel Alberta.
