ATLANTIC TRAP & GILL PUB
If your musical taste favors the tweed and you hanker to kick up your heels a bit, head down to the Atlantic Trap & Grill Pub, where they have a large dance floor and feature live Celtic music every weekend from 8pm until midnight. They also offer some of the best seafood (including their famous beer-battered 'fish and chips') in town: Atlantic lobster, mussels in tomato sauce, a seafood bisque and garlic prawns—all at reasonable prices—and, they have a good assortment of beer on tap.
The Atlantic Trap & Gill is located south of downtown Calgary on McLeod Trail within the Days Inn which is situated on the south-east corner of Mission Road & McLeod Trail.
The Trap serves up fresh traditional East Coast seafood & pub fare along with the very best East Coast brews. Naturally our traditional friendly East Coast attitude and hospitality are thrown in for free!
We feature fresh seafood, ocean fresh mussels & clams, Halifax donairs & traditional style fish & chips among it's many tasty delights. Great food, fun times are waiting here at the Trap!

A little history/trivia regarding "The Trap"
* We first opened in 1998 as "The Newfie Tap & Grill"
* The BC liquor laws said NO to the word "Tap" in our name!!!!
* We chose "Atlantic" to include all our East Coast neighbours
* So we moved the "r" from Grill to Tap & got the "Trap & Gill"
* Our seafood comes in live on ice from PEI & Nova Scotia
* We have live bands on Thursday & Saturday - & it's FREE
* We have 3 location is Western Canada
- Calgary & Edmonton, Alberta and Vancouver, BC
* We sell "Trap" clothing: t-shirts, baby tee's, & ball caps
* We can cater for large parties
* We "import" beer from Newfoundland, Nova Scotia & New Brunswick
