ThisCity.com is an online search engine that launched in Calgary, Alberta in June of 2007. ThisCity's mission is to provide a complete local search and city portal and low cost advertising alternative to traditional print media. With everything from events, restaurants and nightlife to movies, jobs and more; it is the definitive local search.

Membership to the website is free, and allows businesses the opportunity to promote their company online. Soon the company will be offering premium memberships which will allow businesses the opportunity to increase their level of exposure on the site.

The company is also working on developing a social networking community and classifieds section. These of course, will also be free.
